Ages Welcome

Adults must be 21+ with a valid ID to enter the Biergarten.

Children are welcome when supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times.
Capacity and Service (per the City of Madison)

Wait times to enter the Biergarten sometimes occur due to capacity limits, typically only on weekend days with good weather. We apologize if there is a wait when you arrive.

No more than two servings of alcohol may be purchased at one time per person present at the point of sale.

Health Precautions​

All Biergarten team members are vaccinated against COVID-19.

Tables are spaced six feet apart and regularly sanitized.

Please stay home if you feel sick, cover your mouth when coughing or sneezing, and wash your hands frequently.
Rules For Everyone's Enjoyment

Show respect for our neighbors, Lake Monona, and Olbrich Park.

Outside alcohol is prohibited by law at Olbrich Park. All alcohol must stay within the Biergarten.

Picnic baskets and deliveries of outside food are welcome. Outside catering services are prohibited. Seating area may be used by people who wish to picnic and chose not to purchase food or drink from the Biergarten.

A parent, guardian or spouse over 21 must accompany individuals under 21 in the Biergarten.

Individuals under 21 may not consume alcohol, even when accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Grills are prohibited in or around the Biergarten.

All tables at the Biergarten are shared. A limited number of tables may be reserved for a special event.

All motor vehicles, motorcycles & motor scooters must remain in the paved parking lot.

No smoking, e-cigs, or tobacco use in the Biergarten.

No personal amplified sound is allowed in the Biergarten.

“Last Call” at the Biergarten is 9:00pm and there will be no alcohol served after 9:30. Plan accordingly. You must return all Biergarten containers and be out of Olbrich Park when it closes at 10pm.

Offenses punishable by ARREST as determined by local law enforcement authorities:

Underage drinking

False identification (attempting to use fake IDs)

Disorderly or unsafe conduct

Rules for Non-Service Dogs
-
Dogs must remain on leash at all times.

Dogs must not approach the service counter or enter the building at any time. Temporary tie-up stations are available.

Dogs are not allowed on tables or benches and must not come in contact with Biergarten mugs or cups.

Dogs must be relieved outside the biergarten. A waste station is available for your convenience.

Do not approach a dog or allow your dog to approach another dog without the owner’s consent.
-
Employees may not interact with dogs.
